Hobbies & Interests

As well as working on my own computer projects I have also attended several Hackathons including HacktheHolidays and HackSheffield4 (where my team came second). Additionally, I have attended Peterborough STEM Fest where my Twitter bot was mentioned in a talk by one of the speakers.

I enjoy photography and previously undertook a project of posting one photo a day for a year. I have played piano for over 10 years. I also play the clarinet and previously performed with various orchestras both in and out of School. I enjoy Kayaking and have previously competed in Division 2 of the UK canoe slalom league. Recently I have become a collector of cacti and succulents.

Throughout my studies at university I have attended a variety of societies including the Sheffield Ethical Student Hackers Society to improve my skills within Linux and command line. I’ve also attended the Sheffield Artificial Intelligence Society to build upon the data science module I’m currently taking in second year.
